Many of our repairs offer the ability to salvage equipment and restore them to new condition:
- Rebuilding Wear-Ring Seats

Smoothing Pitted / Corroded Surfaces

Any cast-iron pump that has been running in water (95% of all pumps) will corrode and develop a pitted surface on the casing. This is the cause of the efficiency loss in most cases. Traditional pump shops have no solution to address this issue. This in fact is the greatest factor in restoring pump efficiency, up to 20 efficiency points to the operation performance.
Protective Coating

Not only can Belzona restore a pump to like new condition, it can also extend the life of a pump by preventing damage caused by fluid flow. The hydrophobic coating provides a much more efficient surface, especially when compared to that of a corroded casing effected by either rust, scale, or contamination build up.
Efficiency Enhancement
Besides the repair and protection from the damaging effects caused by abrasion, cavitation, corrosion and chemical attack, hydraulic efficiency improvement by reducing frictional energy losses in pumps has become an increased area of interest which Belzona provides solutions to as well.
